God is faithful. Now and Forever; He will always be. I worship a faithful God; ever faithful even when I am faithless. I can't live a day now without praising God, He is simply awesome. A day in His court is indeed better than a thousand days else where.
Very often, when we look at ourselves, we don’t see what we can become. But God, when He looks at us, sees what we can become by His grace. My friend, God did not tell us to call those things which exist as they exist. What is the point of stating the obvious? It is not going to change anything. No, God tells us to call those things which do not exist as though they did — and they will!
God's given vision - 120 members by end of 2008 in N318 & N327.
Today, for the very first time, I went to Powerhouse with some of my cell group friends. I felt out of place at first because those who went are like "CGL" of the CG, but then again, I was reminded I am there to pray and God don't just receive prayer requests of those who are in responsibilities, but He received all prayers that are ask of Him. I am so moved today while I was praying, it seems only, at most 30minutes of praying, but believe me, it was 2 hours of praying.
I was challenged when I was hit by reality of words, that why should I be praying when I could do so much more like fellowship, bible teaching, etc. Yet I've understood, while I was praying, God holds the time in His hands. He caught hold and stop the challenging world for me. When I seek Him, I know I am in total comfort and joy.
We prayed for everyone in the cell group and for each one of them we prayed with the guideline "HARVEST", Health, Ability, Relationships, Visions, Emotion thoughts, Spiritual life, Thought life. I have not had such a great joy in praying and today, the first love was renewed. I enjoyed so much in praying for all my brothers and sisters; surely the joy of recharging and blessing each and everyone of them.
Next Thursday, Powerhouse! You keen? Let us lift each other up and find ourselves the joy that God wants to give; allow our cup to overflow. PRAY.
